DRUG LEGALIZATION PRIMER
(A Public Service Announcement from Suburra Publishing.)
The criminalization of drugs is a relatively recent concept that was popularized by the American government at the beginning of the 20th century. Because of the horrible side effects of criminalization and massive propaganda, illegal drugs are now considered an uncontrollable evil. If legalized illicit drugs would not be any more dangerous than legal drugs like alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine. That is, they are safe when used responsibly. It is wrong to persecute people for actions that do not harm others. The criminalization of responsible recreational drug use denies citizens the pursuit of happiness that inspired the American Revolution.
The primer has been cut down to a sampling of its pages. To learn more about all of these points please refer to You Will Die: The Burden of Modern Taboos.
